It’s the Year of the SBs! 🛹

Another good month in the books for Nike Skateboarding as the SB Dunk reigns supreme on the resell market with the highest average price premium (142%—% by which resell exceeds retail)! In fact, no other silhouette performed close to it last month. A high price premium is a strong signal of the brand strength of both Nike and its Skateboarding division. And it makes sense given the storytelling and quality associated with SBs. I’m specifically buying up the Albino & Preto and Yuto Horigome. They’re neutral colorways (read: easy to wear), collaborations unlikely to re-release, and priced for appreciation. Coop

Jordan 4 Retro SE Craft Photon Dust (DV3742-021) I’m looking for sneakers with short-term negative momentum but a positive month-to-month momentum. I like the Craft 4’s because of high recent sales volume which suggests real demand for this shoe. Hype around other releases may be masking that demand. Bempah

Nike Air Force 1 Low PRM Halloween (2023) (FQ8822-084) This upcoming release (October 30th) is a very wearable colorway trading at a reasonable price premium (36% over the last two weeks). Since it’s a holiday-themed shoe, it’s unlikely to release again after this Halloween window. Natalya

Jordan 12 Retro WNBA All-Star Brilliant Orange (Women’s) (FD9101-081) There has been a sharp increase ⬆️ in the spread of the 3-Day Avg sale price vs 45-Day Moving Avg sale price and a sharp decrease ⬇️ in the spread of the 14-Day Avg sale price vs 45-Day Moving Avg. This short term momentum (maybe associated with the WNBA Finals) gives a good exit point to sell and make a profit. The long-term momentum signals that this may be a short profit window. Bempah

Yeezy Slides Despite being a popular silhouette, there hasn’t been much price movement. Waning demand coupled with more supply likely coming makes slides a sell. Natalya
